25-05-2010 Dan McDermott, Playback

Alon Zakaim Fine Art is proud to present Playback, an exhibition of new photorealist paintings by Dan McDermott. This collection of paintings will open to the public on May 25th, and run through to June 18th.

Returning to Cork St for the fourth time, McDermott's latest collection captures a series of transient, momentary impressions rendered iconic through his vividly cinematic painting style. Isolating and freezing fleeting moments from an archive of film and television footage, McDermott monumentalises images from popular culture through his statically charged paintings.

Dan McDermott has been exhibiting with Alon Zakaim Fine Art since 2006. Based in London, he has shown extensively throughout Britain and abroad. This new exhibition brings together a broad and varied survey of the artist's latest work, showcasing his highly individual approach to painting through a diverse range of subject matter.

For further information please view Dan McDermott's featured page or contact the gallery.
20-04-2010 Georges Terzian

From 20th April 2010, Alon Zakaim Fine Art will present a collection of oil and gouache paintings by Georges Terzian, who has lived and worked in Paris since the 1960s.

Highlighting a selection of work produced during his most prolific period, between 1965 and 1990, the exhibition explores the artist's modern take on cubism expressed through his breathtakingly vibrant abstract still lifes. Alon Zakaim Fine Art is honoured to present such a large collection of this artist's outstanding work to the public for the first time.

For further information please view Georges Terzian's featured page or contact the gallery.
